YBC was extremely proud to be a sponsor of this years’ gala, helping to raise over $2.9 million in donations. This incredible sum will help to provide fully-funded four-year scholarships for 115 children of fallen military personnel. It’s amazing to think that just in that one night the lives of so many children have been changed for the better.
YBC’s very own Frank Latargia (YBC Chief Operations Officer) represented YBC at the event. Franks account of Gen. Richard D. Clarke’s speech was extremely moving (The General is the Commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command). The General spoke about the sacrifices made by the brave men and women in uniform. He also went on to acknowledge the sacrifice made by partners, sons & daughters, stating they provide the much-needed family support required to operate in such extreme conditions.
The devastation and psychological damage on the family when a parent is lost through service to our country is beyond measure. YBC is extremely grateful to be in a position where they are able to help. We invite you to join us in supporting the Children of Fallen Patriots, visit www.fallenpatriots.org for more information.
